The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” Collection Fully Unveiled

feature image

To celebrate All-Star Weekend at the beginning of the year, Virgil Abloh and Jordan Brand debuted their love letter to the Air Jordan 5, a “Black Metallic” recreation that effectively lensed the icon through the Off-White designer’s deconstructed ideas. And now, near half a year later, the two are reuniting once again to do the same, though this time they’re crafting a brighter, Sail-colored homage that leads the way for an equally notable set of apparel.

Debuted in full today, the range spans a small number of standout pieces. The hoodie, which pairs up with the pants quite perfectly in both tone and design, dresses a cream base with darker paneling throughout the torso and sleeves; the center chest as well as the back then steals the spotlight as bright red embroideries take the form of Jumpman insignia and co-branded logo lock-ups, respectively. This treatment is effectively echoed atop the bottoms, a straight leg trackpant that bears metallic silver hardware, a drawstring waist, and all the same over-branding. In stark departure, the graphic tee provides a more minimal and versatile nod to Michael Jordan himself as a white blank is dons black and white depictions of the goat in play.

Grab a detailed look at the full collection right here, and while the Off-White Jordan 5 Sail will release October 29th, you’ll have to wait until December to get your hands on any of the apparel.

In other news, a clean Bred Air Jordan 35 has just been unveiled.
