A Subtle Mix Of 2019’s Shanghai Kaleidoscope Appears On The Nike Air Max 97

2019’s Air Max Day was replete with standouts — and that’s putting things lightly — but among the droves of creative-designed releases, Cash Ru’s contribution was arguably the most notable as it wrapped the beloved Air Max 97 in a layer of toile. And now, though nowhere close to as aggressive visually, Nike is offering a GR spin that uses roughly the same palette.

White dresses the leather and mesh of the upper with a slight yellow tint. Grey strips work their way in between near the bottom-most layer, placed in parallel to the miniature Swoosh and Air unit which share a bolder red shading. Elsewhere, the aforementioned collaboration’s light blue is found at both the eye stays, heel, and insole, quietly creating the homage to Ru’s ideas.

Grab a detailed look at these here and find them at Nike.com likely very soon.

Equally versatile, the Women’s Nike Dunk High Pale Ivory will be landing later next year.
