Michael Le After near four years apart, Slam Jam and ASICS are teaming up once again this Fall/Winter season, the two now picking up where they left off as they dress the NOVABLAST silhouette. A blend of both form and function, the collaboration acts as yet another effort in the Italian retailer’s study of the ultimate uniform.
In terms of palette, the pair follows Slam Jam’s muted color guide, a reference that is somewhat out the norm for running shoes. Accents of dark grey wrap the knit atop the toe, while red decals sit adjacent along the edge of the eye stay and back towards the counter. Then, along the top line, a metallic silver wraps in brighter finish, contrasting that of the sole, lace unit, lining, and Tiger strike whose black finishes are placed all throughout.
