Though sneakerheads are typically adamant on avoiding wear and degradation, a few recent releases have begun to encourage it. From the dual-layered constructions of the CLOT x Air Force 1s to the pattern-heavy canvas of Travis Scott’s Dunk Low, Nike has been at the forefront of this movement, trickling such an effort down to GRs as they present this wearaway Air Max 1.
At a glance, the pair deceives of a typical triple white colorway. Throughout the leathers at the toe, mid-panel, and heel, a white brandishes with little cracks or fading. Their edges, though, subtly hint at what’s underneath as each tints a soft warm tone in a fashion not too dissimilar to Union’s Air Jordan 1s. And with time, this will begin to show much clearer, everything — save for the toe box, collar, tongue, and tooling — aged to all across with a muted orange.
Grab a detailed look at this women’s Air Max 1 here and expect a release to arrive likely before the end of 2020 at Nike.com and possibly select retailers.
In other news, the J Balvin Air Jordan 1 was just officially revealed.
