Jovani Hernandez The Nike Air Max 97 isn’t in a milestone anniversary year, but it’s dressed up in a number of impressive ensembles throughout 2020. Its latest, however, isn’t for the streets as much as it is for the golf course.
While not the silhouette’s first made-for-the-green iteration, the pair (which is already available in Nike Korea) features a “Black/Oracle Pink/Anthracite” colorway complete with Swarovski crystals where the vamp overlays traditionally go. Unlike the model’s lifestyle collaboration with the luxury brand from 2017, the remainder of the upper indulges in shades of black and suede and mesh construction; swooshes surrounded by the mudguard boast the aforementioned rose tone, but forgo any shimmering styling. Underfoot, Air Max units are void of any eye-catching contrast, but the serrated outsole rounds out the pair in a semi-translucent finish accented with “Oracle Pink” speckling.
