Nike SB‘s output throughout 2020 has been one of its most impressive in recent years. And while much of the attention has been on the SB Dunk, silhouettes such as the SB Blazer Mid also deserve some appreciation. For its latest ensemble, the reworked model features patchwork detailing indulged in a “Team Red/Light Dew/Summit White/Navy” palette.
As with “Hack Pack”-like propositions of yesteryear, the forthcoming pair boasts a tonal base complemented by a frayed swoosh outline on the lateral profile. Haphazardly-shaped suede overlays across the forefoot not only contrast the rest of the upper’s leather build, but also its “Team Red” color scheme. Tongue construction ostensibly borrows design notes from sacai‘s NIKE, Inc. collaborations given that it’s comprised of two layers sporting different materials and tones. Underfoot, sole units opt into a tried-and-proven “Summit White” midsole/light gum brown outsole combination, with the former opting for reinforcement near the heel.
A Nike.com release date is unknown, but this Blazer Mid-variant is likely to launch in early 2021. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
