Minor Delays Have The Nike Dunk High SP “Varsity Purple” Releasing On December 22nd

Thanks to COVID, release times across the board have been hard to predict, with EU, US, and Asia often differing by days and sometimes even months. Though not quite as dramatic, the recently unveiled Nike Dunk High SP “Varsity Purple” was subject to similar delays, select shops and SNKRS now scheduled to release the colorway either this or next week.

Already in-hand by a few sneakerheads, the pair highlights its leather panels in the titular shade, drawing reference to past Co.JP exclusives like the beloved (and relatively obscure) “City Attack” pack. But to distinguish itself, the WMNS alternative tweaks its bottom with an icy blue finish, turning modern a design that would otherwise be quite identical to its inspiration. Elsewhere, the leathers at the base hue white like the midsole, linings dress their glossy textures in the aforementioned purple, and the Nike branding fills with a dark gold.

Grab one more look at these women’s Dunks right here, and if you need a pair for yourself or a loved one, try your hand at the Nike SNKRS drop on December 22nd. Certain retailers will offer launch a bit sooner through raffle.

In other news, the sacai Nike VaporWaffle Tour Yellow releases tomorrow.
