As the Air Jordan 6 heads into its 30th anniversary, the strikingly-similar Jordan 6 Rings has ostensibly ramped up its release roster, as it has recently emerged in a handful of new colorways. The latest dons a “Light Graphite/Orange Peel/Sport Red” palette reminiscent of the beloved Air Jordan 3 “Cool Grey” retro.
A hybrid of the sneakers in which Michael Jordan won his six NBA titles, the model’s forthcoming arrangement boasts a black patent leather mudguard atop a white midsole. Outsoles indulge in the two-tone scheme, but the Jordan 13 hologram underneath the exposed carbon fiber shank features scarlet and citrus tones. Throughout the upper, the same hues animate most of the branding, while “Light Graphite” sets the stage in nubuck construction.
