The adidas Superstar has been at the mercy of a number of eccentrics designs in the past few years, but it seldom ever ropes in the equally classic Continental 80. However, in the case of this upcoming graffiti-styled pack, both silhouettes will be fully “vandalized” with nothing but a fine point marker.
Though the core idea is essentially the same between both options, the Superstar is somehow the bolder of the two. Alongside its contrasted stripes and heel tab, the markings themselves are bit thicker. These writings cover the profile with the “Superstar” namesake, some heritage slogans, and even the locations of three brand HQs. Trefoils, flowers, and even more text are drawn adjacent, filling in the blank space where need be. The Continental 80 mirrors the execution near exactly, though where it uses the aforementioned messaging is switched up; it also prefers stars and pound signs over the playful florals.
Grab a good look at both right below, and as they’re available overseas, expect to see them at adidas.com US soon.
In other news, another Woolen Air Force 1 has surfaced.
