“The Future Is In The Air” By Nike Ushers In The Air Max 270 React

“The Future Is In The Air” By Nike Ushers In The Air Max 270 React

Since the 1980s, Nike has been continuously pushing the sneaker industry forward via the Air Max line. The brand’s upcoming “The Future Is In The Air” collection celebrates its revolutionary footwear cushioning, featuring models such as the Air Max 2090 and Air Max 97. Now, the Air Max 270 React joins the pack in a brightly-colored arrangement.

The pair sports a white base that’s color-blocked by wavy, suede-like overlays sky blue, pink, and Summit White. These pastel-like shades are also found on the lace loops, including a soft orange color. The swoosh and Air unit, on the other hand, opt for a rather neon Infrared. For additional branding, the left shoe has a pull tab that reads “The Future Is In The Air” runs down the middle of the tongue. The cheery color scheme and added text are fitting for the optimistic future of the Air Max line, as Nike continues its heritage of innovation.

An official release date has not yet been announced but will be available for purchase at the retailers listed below when they drop, for $160.

In other Air Max news, an upcoming Air Max 90 references London’s pirate radio movement.
