Michael Le Compared to most, adidas Yeezy has had a relatively slow start to 2021. But, as leaks are beginning to reveal, the brand is soon to pick up the pace not only with 1020 boots but also the beloved Yeezy 500.
Rather than rehash old colorways, the imprint has opted to dress the 500 in shades far more colorful than the Desert Rat that started it all. Underfoot, the pair is grounded with bright orange hues, the rounded, bulbous molds then sculpted with adidas branding. Spaces up, the suedes used at the toe and the trims just along the lower profile contrast in an earthy greyed neutral, offsetting the faded blue overlays and brown mesh that fill in the rest of the blanks.
