Nike Adds Copper Accents To The Air Max 270 With “Dusty Cactus” Elements

Nike Adds Copper Accents To The Air Max 270 With “Dusty Cactus” Elements

First debuting nearly three years ago, the Air Max 270 continues to be recognized for its strikingly voluminous Air unit at the heel. Although the sizes of Air bags on later models such as the Air Max 720 have managed to top that achievement, the 270 continues to be a popular choice for comfort and style, clocking in as one of the brand’s best sellers year after year. Now, it arrives clad in aqua and bronze accents that are reminiscent of its first release.

The blue swoosh and placement of black throughout are almost identical to the “Dusty Cactus” colorway used for the Air Max 270 debut. Elsewhere, hits of copper and Team Red are applied for a distinctly new arrangement. Copper is seen on the tongue and heel pull tab’s branding, with a similar shade tinting the Air unit and outsole. Meanwhile, red logos are placed atop the black elements on the body for an elegant yet unexpected extra pop of color.

The pair will be arriving at the retailers listed below for $150.

In other Air Max news, an upcoming Air Max 95 is repping UMich colors and retro branding.
