Jasmine Tang While the D/MS/X sublabel’s Blazer Mid Infinite offers a clean, animated take on the classic silhouette by adding linear rubber accents, Nike SB adopts a deconstructed yet modern approach with its Blazer Mid Edge. Following images of a pair in Lakers-inspired colors, another iteration has appeared, featuring pink and purple accents.
Uppers are constructed of black pebbled later, with a matching suede overlay on the forefoot. This overlay sits atop a Pink Rise suede Swoosh that stretches onto the toe. A similar swoosh is used on the lateral side. On the contrary, the medial side’s swoosh is an outline of pink stitches that display loose hanging threads for a frayed aesthetic. Adding to the unruly look, the pair opts for a double-tongue construction where a purple tongue peeks below a black one.
