Coral Studios Revisits Its Nike Air Max 95 With Leather Construction And Custom Recyclable Box

In 2018, Coral Studios leveraged the rare opportunity to collaborate with Nike to heighten awareness towards the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, an organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the natural aquatic wonder. Placing a vivid color-palette on a suede upper, the Coral Studios x Nike Air Max 95 was one of the year’s more sought-after yet under-the-radar drops, with just fifty pairs releasing at a special event at Philly-based boutique Lapstone & Hammer.

Following up that limited batch, Coral Studios and Nike present an Air Max 95 V2, revisiting the same colorway, but with an all-new full leather construction. Housing the shoes is a custom collapsible shoe-box that is completely recyclable, although we must admit that shoebox is a keeper. A QR code is also placed on the box as a direct portal to donate to the aforementioned Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Stay tuned to the Coral Studios Instagram for updates; a release should be happening soon, with units likely limited.

Updated March 28th, 2021: A release date is scheduled for April 3rd, 2021.
