Jovani Hernandez The Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 launched in early 2020 to kick-off the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. A return-to-original-form, the premium iteration will see its third release on Wednesday, February 10th, in a “White/Neutral Grey” colorway unseen since 1985.
Limited to just 23,000 pairs, the forthcoming retro features the shape and packaging of Peter Moore’s original proposition. Smooth leather throughout the upper sets the stage for soft suede swathes that take over profile swooshes and collar construction; “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue and “Wings” logos on the lateral ankle indulge in the hair material’s titular grey hue. The two-toned Jordan 1 arrives with sizing information on the inner collar, an individually-numbered drawstring bag and a throwback hang tag depicting Michael Jordan soaring above Chicago’s skyline (recreated from scratch by designers).
