Founded in 2013, Jimmy Sweatpants — or JSP as the brand is commonly referred to — comes straight from the mind of Jimmy Gorecki himself, the skateboarding pro who made a name for himself under the flags of Aesthetics, Zoo York, and Ice Cream. Today, the streetwear imprint is standing alongside Vault By Vans to pay tribute to Love Park, one of Philadelphia’s most iconic landmarks.

For the collaboration, Gorecki has selected his favorite Vans silhouette: the Chukka Boot. Prepared in two colorways, each bears a preference for premium materials like the skater-turned-designer’s own apparel pieces. Thick suede covers from head to toe, complemented underneath with a red and white checkerboard-patterned sole, one that’s further embellished thanks to a little artistic help from local artist Joe Lees. These markings sit atop the entire midsole, spelling out “JSP,” “215,” and “LOVE” in memory of what Love Park used to be. What’s more, the packaging also immortalizes Gorecki’s childhood friend JR Neves who sadly passed away in 2009.

Grab a detailed look at the white and black colorways below, and if you’d like to pick up a set, they’re slated to hit select retailers on Feb. 10th.
