CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss Of Death” Confirmed To Return

feature image

CLOT’s use of Chinese culture in their collaborations dates all the way back to 2006, when the brand linked up with Nike for their very first sneaker. Now, almost 15 years thereafter, the Hong Kong based label has multiple standouts under their belt, each layered with either Terracotta influences or slick, silken layers. This year, CLOT is looking back on this very history, celebrating the Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” that started it all.

Rumored about a year back and only recently confirmed, the iconic “Kiss of Death” should be on the way for March, a month notable for the imaginary “Air Max Day.” This is further evidenced by the many surfacing images, with DJ Khaled one of the first to show the 2021 pair in-hand. Today, KAWS joins the fray, picturing his personal set in the best detail yet. And from this image, we can see how faithful a recreation the re-release actually is. See-through panels and suedes arrive fully intact, accented adjacent with bright orange midsoles, an icy tread, and some smooth red Swooshes.

For now, you can enjoy a quick peek at these below. A release, as mentioned prior, is due for March.

In other news, official images of the sacai Nike VaporWaffle Dark Iris have appeared.
