Jovani Hernandez The novel Jordan MA2 has been gradually building out an impressive roster since late January, with its latest proposition arriving with a colorway somewhat reminiscent of E.A. Laney High School’s team colors.
As with previously-seen options, the forthcoming pair features a partially-quilted base. Clad in “University Gold,” this durable, but lightweight component sets the stage for several overlays throughout the forefoot, along the tongue and across the heel, the most latter area boasting “Black” paneling, while the former two predominantly don “University Blue” suede swaths. Labels on the tongue opt into “Gym Red” flair for its Jumpman and “NIKE AIR” branding (the scarlet tone also animates the forefoot Zoom Air-cushioning marker underfoot). Midsoles indulge in a “Sail” makeup, which also takes over the Nike Air Max unit at the heel, but in a semi-translucent finish.
