Yoshida & Co. has fostered a large array of sub-labels near as diverse a CdG’s own operations. But while they may delve into apparel every-so-often, the imprint is undoubtedly more well-known for their collection of Porter luggage. This month, said accessories will be taking the stage alongside Vault by Vans, teaming up for much more than the usual selection of bags.
Footwear is arguably the star of the show here as four options take the helm. And though they may make use of drastically different forms — ranging from high-tops to low — each very evidently bears the same aesthetic DNA. The Sk8-Hi and Old Skool, for example, are patterned near identically, with florals and checkerboards alternating across the medial and lateral mid-panels. The forefoot and tongue, however, dress in solid suede, contrasting that of the laces and lining whose orange hue references the iconic MA-1. The Slip-On follows a similar execution, but it better displays the aforementioned graphics across the mismatched toes.
For a better look at the entire capsule, see below. Both the shoes and the commemorative bags will be available on Februray 20th at select retailers.
In other news, a Flaming Moes ZX 1000 is on the way.
