Fucking Awesome And adidas Bring Back The Experiment 1 And Experiment 2 Alongside Workwear Capsule

It hasn’t been long since Fucking Awesome first announced their partnership with adidas. But in this short time, the label has brought out a number of interesting releases, ranging from gold, emblem clad Stan Smiths to entirely new silhouettes. And these new forms — dubbed bluntly as the Experiment 1 and Experiment 2 — are back for Spring/Summer, this time accompanying a full range of workwear-inspired apparel.

The footwear itself is rather straightforward. Rather than follow in the clothing’s example, they simply add a palette near complementary. The Experiment 1 starts the collection off with a slight touch of blue, hiding it behind dark navy leather stripes and a cream-based mudguard/toe cap. Gum bottoms add a universally loved lifestyle element, while “Fucking Awesome” text brands both the landscape-covered tongue label as well as the back heel. In departure, the Experiment 2 is wholly understated, with shades of white dressing both under and overlays alike. “Fucking Awesome” is then replaced for a more PG “FA” and the sole opts for a slight yellowing.

The apparel takes design cues from timeless, vintage offerings. Liner jackets take the helm, bearing founder Jason Dill’s artwork, while black tracksuits, jerseys, and technical pants pad out the rest of the breadth with sportswear influence.
