The Nike Air Max 95 “Shimmer” Hides The Eyelets By Replacing The Standard Mesh

The Nike Air Max 95 “Shimmer” Hides The Eyelets By Replacing The Standard Mesh

The Nike Air Max 95 has been undergoing some subtle changes since the start of the year. The silhouette, in subversion of its most typical form, is upgrading its construction as it hides eyelets behind additional layers of nylon.

This new look comes as no surprise at all, considering the model recently experimented with a much wider lacing system. But here, this forthcoming “Shimmer” colorway opts for an opposing approach, extending the side layers up rather than the reverse. These hues of synthetic pink wrap widespread throughout the profile, each panel only set apart thanks to its perceivable dimension. The shade is slightly different as well, though the difference is rather subdued at a glance. Elsewhere, white midsoles then outfit below, matching the neutral threads that embroider the miniature Swooshes, laces, and tongue branding.

For a close-up peek, see the images below. A release will likely go out to Nike.com and select retailers very soon.

For more releases, the Space Hippie 01 Healing Jade should be on the way.
