The Colors Of Dusk Set On The Nike Air Max 97

The Nike Air Max 97 hasn’t received the same attention that some of its visible Air cushioning-counterparts have over the past two years, but it’s maintained a steady release roster that has pleased old and new fans alike. For its latest proposition, Christian Tresser’s revolutionary design has indulged in a sunset-reminiscent palette.

Mesh bases and suede mudguards atop them indulge in an understated black tone that sets the stage for the flair that appears throughout the upper and outsole. Vamp overlays, which feature a reflective finish, boast purple and various shades of pink, evoking a color-shifting effect similar to what appears at dusk. Swooshes throughout the shoe favor a vibrant rose tone, while full-length Air Max cushioning opts for a pitch-black makeup, allowing the aforementioned flair to revel in the spotlight that much more.

Official Nike.com release details are currently unknown, but this Air Max 97 is likely to launch in summer. In the meantime, enjoy images of the shoes here below.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. universe, the Air Jordan 4 “Tech Grey” is set to launch on May 29th.
