Jovani Hernandez Last seen in November 2020, the Nike Space Hippie 01 has recently emerged in an “Anthracite/Black/Volt” colorway sure to deliver much-pleaded-for excited to the brand’s sustainable lineup.
Unlike its Space Hippie 04 counterpart, the model pictured here has only emerged in three iterations, despite fans having expressed their interest in it on social media. Space Yarn construction throughout the upper maintains its standard pattern and build, while profile swooshes proffer a segmented, alternating look: lateral sides boast a silver tone, while medial walls are animated by a “Volt” logo. Stitching along the tongue follows suit, as does the wheel logo on the heel. Most of the remaining components indulge in a mix of “Anthracite” and “Black,” including the upcycled Crater Foam cushioning underfoot, a first for the Space Hippie collection.
