Michael Le 2021 has been rather eventful for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, offering two of the most anticipated inline colorways in years. And later this Summer, the brand is keeping up the momentum as they prepare the “Court Purple” in full family sizes.
Similar to their adult counterpart, the pairs celebrate the mythical “Metallic” colorways from 1985. Though it’s not an exact replica, it’s the closest we’ve gotten in years as the scheme follows the same color blocking to a near exact spec. White leathers dress the majority of the construction all the same, bearing a slight but still premium tumbling throughout. The titular “Court Purple” then comes into play where you’d expect: the tread, the Nike Air at the tongue, and, of course, the Swoosh. Complements by way of the Wings insignia and collar complete the homage even along the smaller, downsized PS and TD versions.
