Jovani Hernandez The Nike Air Max Plus is currently in its 23rd year on the market. As it inches closer to a quarter of a century in existence, Sean McDowell’s design will surely reprise original colorways, but for one of its next iterations, the sneaker has indulged in a “Black/Royal Blue/White” color palette.
Akin to classic styles like the Air Jordan 1 “Royal,” the latest proposition from NIKE, Inc. features a “Black” base accompanied by overlays dipped in a rich blue tone. Palm tree-inspired TPU cages throughout the upper forgo any gradient finish, but boast a glossy makeup that delivers some flair to the Tuned Air-cushioned sneaker. Swoosh branding and laces introduce “White” into the mix, which also appears at the midsole. Visible tuned Air Max cushioning, however, revert to an eye-catching “Royal Blue”.
A Nike.com release date hasn’t been disclosed, but this Air Max Plus is likely to launch during the summer. In any case, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
