College Colors Appear On The adidas NMD R1 With Split-Blocked Boost Soles

College Colors Appear On The adidas NMD R1 With Split-Blocked Boost Soles

Although Pharrell Williams has been injecting a sense of exclusivity into it, the adidas NMD line has become an accessible option for enthusiasts looking for fresh and comfortable sneakers that won’t “break the bank”. For its latest proposition, the lifestyle-focused range has produced an NMD R1 in a collegiate-reminiscent “Cloud White/Crew Navy/Grey Two” colorway.

Akin to previously-seen iterations of the BOOST-cushioned model, the forthcoming pair indulges in a “colorless” makeup across its Primeknit base. Profile 3-Stripes and synthetic reinforcement across the mid-foot introduce accompanying hues to the mix, delivering a color combination appropriate for any Penn State sports enthusiast, for example. Underfoot, midsoles predominantly maintain a “Cloud White” aesthetic, but foam towards the forefoot creates a split style with its “Crew Navy” flair. Tread reverts to a simple color scheme that allows some of the aforementioned tones to revel in the spotlight.

Enjoy official images of the latest NMD here below, and anticipate pairs hitting adidas.com on April 1st.
