This Futurist Air Jordan 1 Low Features Gradient Soles And Lace Toggles

Futurism of the contemporary kind has been a huge source of inspiration for the entire sneaker industry. And though no stranger, Jordan Brand is presenting their own women’s exclusive interpretation, one a tiny bit more reserved than competing offerings. Thrust atop the Air Jordan 1 Low, the design turns the classic metallic and adds features that are imagined to be from the next century.

Throughout the construction, the overlays bear a polished, silver sheen like that of a space ship. When paired with the gradient-accented sole, it’s clear the colorway is at least partly inspired by the astronomical. But this doesn’t get too out of hand, as only subtly iridescent finishes treat the base of the upper’s paneling. Darker black swooshes and similarly shaded grey mesh does outfit atop, though only the latter stands out thanks to its woven texture. Moreover, Jumpman branding is superimposed in near invisible manners and lace toggles add another touch of the aforementioned metal.

For a better look, see the official images below. A release should arrive before the end of the year via select retailers and Nike.com.
