Michael Le Upon debut, all eyes were on the Space Hippie. Part for its design, part for its sustainability, the entire pack went on to sell rather well where they landed. And though the subsequent colorways sit just a bit longer, offerings like this Space Hippie 01 “Melon Tint” certainly pale little in comparison.
This time, the shoe is a getting a brighter Spring/Summer look. Across its recycled sole, the colored, contrasted scraps are mostly overshadowed by the louder “Melon Tint” hue. This wraps all throughout the exterior walls, dressing in parallel to a knit whose “Vast Grey” dye seems somewhat affected by the colors adjacent. But even still, it lays the perfect foundation for the pastel blue eye stays and the soft pinks at the laces and Swoosh.
