Michael Le The Air Max Plus is but one of the many tools Nike is using to celebrate the coming Summer season. And with its latest colorway, the silhouette is emulating the sunny, sunny skies ahead.
In color, this is quite possibly the closest a shoe can ever get to a summer’s day. Light aqua blues set the backdrop, gradating to a deeper, darker navy for added realism. The mudguard, which layers in leather along the side and TPU at the toe, matches the dark cool tone like the laces, tongue, and lining adjacent. Midsoles, which impart a bit of white, may allude to clouds, while the yellow Swoosh and orange Air Units ostensibly celebrate the sun itself.
