Though built atop MJ’s revered legacy, Jordan Brand shows no fear in breaking away from the mold. While flagships like the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4, etc. uphold the foundation, the line-up’s new generation thinks far ahead and often clashes with heritage norms. This is undeniably the case with the imprint’s next up: the women’s Jordan Air Mae.
In ethos, the silhouette is a celebration of the women who stand on the forefront of the times. Future, fashion, and leapfrog styles make up the DNA, creating something that’s objectively unique to the Jumpman family.
At first glance, the model towers in its oversized tooling and militaristic design. The colorway, which pushes “Dutch Green” in force, only serves this inspiration, giving the upper a heavy army-influenced look. The laces and eye stays deliver complementing aesthetics, while the synthetic layers over top bridge these visual themes with breathable, close-fit function. Suedes, thicker leathers, and tear-proof tongues further upgrade the kit’s exterior, while foam insoles and Air cushioning quietly ensure comfort.

In other news, the Jordan Delta 2 was also newly unveiled.
