Tokyo Rounds Out The adidas ZX 8000 “Out There” Trio

Though founded in Germany, adidas has always had an affinity for Japanese culture. And soon, by way of their new ZX 8000 “Out There,” the brand will overtly celebrate the country and its famed Tokyo streets.

This nod is more literal than anything, with not much left to interpretation. Via the side velcro, the pair patches with the city’s name, each letter emboldened in thick, white font. Elsewhere, the canvas construction boasts a stealthy black coloring that’s detailed subtly with hits of olive. The tongue, lining, and heel, however, are far more bold in pattern as they feature an earthy camo that also extends to the removable pouch.

For a closer look, check the official images below. NY, LA, and more renditions are likely on the way, so sit tight as they’ll all soon make their way to adidas.com.

In other news, the LEGO adidas Ultra Boost releases tomorrow.
