NIKE, Inc. has officially postponed this Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 collaboration. No new release date has been confirmed by the brand.
Teased during this year’s Air Max Worldwide virtual event, Travis Scott‘s Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack” collaboration has recently been rumored to launch in five different colorways instead of just one as initially believed.
Anticipated to launch throughout the holiday season, the pairs indulge in a number of muted tones like “Baroque Brown” and “Grey Haze,” but also feature eye-catching “Saturn Gold” and “Lemon Drop” flair. Although details haven’t been confirmed, Scott’s take on Tinker Hatfield’s revolutionary design will likely boast the model’s original suede and mesh construction instead of its “LV8” specifications, which apply a premium leather build. Akin to the Texas-native’s Air Jordan 1 collaborations, the forthcoming collection is expected to boast backwards lateral side swooshes; “CACTUS JACK” branding appears on the heel in its respective style’s loudest hue. The final product is likely to differ from initial mock-ups of the collaborative Air Max options, but each of La Flame’s latest NIKE, Inc. designs are anticipated to opt into a tonal-colored sole unit with standard waffle-patterned tread.
