Dime And Vans Resurrect The Skate Mid Skool For Latest Collaboration

From New Balance to Reebok and back to Vans, Dime has entertained a number of collaborative offers in the past year and a half. But here, as they re-embrace their roots, the skate label seems to be at its most calm, opting to simply resurrect the archival Skate Mid Skool.

Gone are the art disasters and Y2K color palettes. Instead, the two are preferring to keep things straightforward, combining signature colors with a signature silhouette. The Mid Skool, which leverages a premium assemblage of suede and nylon, is recreated near true-to-form; the only main difference is its height, as the collar seems to peak just a bit higher than is ordinary. And though prepared in three distinct colorways — Off-White, Navy/White, and Black/Atlantic Green — each parades the imprint’s staple yellow color, text, and insignia.

For a closer look, check the lead image once again. More images should surface closer to the collection’s April 27th release date. Expect to see them at select retailers as well as Dimemtl.com.

In other news, The Webster Vans Bold Ni is also releasing this month.
