Michael Le The love for “University Blue” is at an all-time, so high in fact this upcoming Dunk Low may just be this year’s finest release. Arriving at the perfect time, the pair leans on both current trends and the silhouette’s extensive archive of colorways.
From as far back as 1999, the UNC signature has followed the model throughout the years. And as we’re more accustomed to seeing the Carolina Blue on a high, this forthcoming Low is a solid change of a pace. The shade marks the overlays as expected, turning the Swoosh, toe, and heel into firm Tar Heels supporters. Below, white neutrals dress the foundation, maintaining the classic two-toned aesthetic. The branding on the other hand, while complements in tone, switch things up a bit as their embroideries are subtly degraded.
