Jovani Hernandez As the world awaits for the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Sesame” to release, the North American institution has outfitted some of its heritage-driven solo endeavors in similar color palettes. Case in point: A women’s Nike Waffle Trainer 2 in “Sand”.
Reminiscent of the highly-coveted Dunk Low “Medium Curry,” the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a light brown arrangement made up of suede, synthetic leather and mesh. “NIKE”-branded heel panels boast an almost-mustard hue, which draws attention but doesn’t completely detract from the Waffle Trainer’s muted aesthetic. As the model’s name suggests, the sole units are rounded out by a black waffle patterned-outsole.
