Michael Le July 4th is still a ways away and yet Nike already has a few patriotic colorways under their 2021 belt.
The latest, which dresses the Air Max 90 yet again, takes a more reserved approach, rendering only the silhouette’s accents in the flag’s louder hues. Elsewhere, white shades take the helm, outfitting not only the leather quarter but also the mesh underneath, the laces, the lining, and the majority of the midsole. The reds come into play adjacent, surrounding the Air Unit in a texture/finish identical to the heel tab’s and topmost eye stay’s. A dark navy, then, rounds off the scheme by way of the Swoosh, tongue, and the rear’s Nike symbol.
