Now that the Air Tuned Max is officially back, Nike is more than comfortable with adding new colorways to the fray. Here, alongside a Triple Black palette, the silhouette is making subtle use of shiny patent leathers.
Unlike the more iconic “Celery,” this pair’s upper forgoes any semblance of color. The tongue and heel brand with silver threads, while the textile base subtly weaves in hits of gray into the black-dominant material. Over top, patent leathers dress both the forefoot and rear overlays, adding a stark, polished contrast to the side profile’s matted cage. Below, the tooling follows an execution similar to the rest of the design, though it does add the yellow “Tn” logo underfoot.
