From dangling chains to Swoosh-shaped pendants, Nike has been able to upgrade fan-favorite silhouettes by venturing into “shoe jewelry.” Just in time for the summer, the Beaverton-based brand has revealed an Air Force 1 Shadow that features fun, clip-on enamel charms and references the equally playful “Have a Nike Day” branding.

The women’s-exclusive Air Force 1 variant flaunts a white, smooth leather base that is paired with light beige panels and overlays to deliver the silhouette’s signature layered aesthetic. To add some brightness, the side Swooshes, tongue label, and heel tab see a neon yellow. The lateral side’s profile Swoosh features a row of five punctures that allow for charms to be clipped onto. By default, the pair arrives with four, multi-colored letter charms that spell “NIKE” and another enamel charm of the iconic “Have a Nike Day” smiley face. These detachable charms provide wearers with an easy way to personalize their footwear, aligning with the current DIY trend.
