Michael Le A hit as it rolled through All-Star Weekend via tank, the Yeezy Quantum was once one of the most difficult flagships to attain. But after all the delays and limited releases, the silhouette is now more readily available. Soon, we’ll even witness its first foray into color with the release of the “Flash Orange” later this month.
As a whole, the colorway doesn’t stray too far from the original template. The padded collar and matching tongue retain their black neutrals, the latter strung with matching laces as well. And though the heel clip may partially follow suit, it abruptly shifts to a deep brown. Even the tooling is tinted a bit darker than usual, matching the cream-based pigments of the upper’s base knit and the suede toe. The titular warm tone, then, finishes adjacent, trading blows with threads of darker notes.
