Jovani Hernandez The Air Jordan 1 Mid has kept a low profile compared to its activity throughout 2020, but it’s previewed some of its upcoming styles throughout the last four months. Alongside colorways obviously-rooted in Chicago Bulls heritage, the mid-top silhouette has emerged in a handful of experimental takes. Case in point: a kid’s-exclusive option constructed with corduroy uppers.
While acquainted with other propositions under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, corduroy hasn’t appeared much on the first Air Jordan model, being bested by leather, suede and even satin. For its application on the forthcoming kid’s pair, the thick cotton fabric presents a blend of off-white, light pink and crimson tones, with the most latter color animates the profile swooshes. Sole units maintain a tried-and-proven white makeup, while Nike Dunk-reminiscent outsoles indulge in a “Crimson Tint”-like tone.
