Upon introduction, the Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit was excessive in its use of color, matching the embedded scraps with equally vibrant threads. But here, the brand is going against the norm, opting to dress the silhouette up in a full white colorway.
Straightforward elsewhere, the sole is the only fixture accented with color. And that’s thanks wholly in part to the recycled scraps that make up its composition. And though hits of red, blue, and the like are sprinkled throughout, they’re largely in the minority next to darker bits of black and grey neutrals. This plays well with the white shades elsewhere, which outfit both the rest of the tooling, the Flyknit upper, and the felt-esque panels over top.
