Michael Le In likely preparation for July 4th, Nike has doubled down on the USA-inspired colorways. And among the collection, the Air Max 90 is holding it down, offering glimpses of yet another patriotic scheme.
What ensues is a rather comprehensive nod to the American flag. However, unlike the pairs previous, the dark royal blues take the helm, dressing the mesh and leather panels of the upper. The Swoosh and heel tab, in contrast, bring along “Sail” hits, while the midsole, laces, and lining opt for a more faithful, true white. Below, the tooling rounds off the nod to the country with bright red accents, complementing the orange that brands both the tongue and counter.
