The New Balance 237 was introduced as a simple, vintage-meets-modern silhouette that marked the first collaboration between Boston-based brand and the French-Moroccan menswear label Casablanca. Perhaps their partnership will become a continued tradition, as the duo prepares to deliver another pair of NB 237s that revisits monogram madness.
Inspired by the New Balance 327, which will be embracing the same monogram and color schemes, the 237 sports white leather perforated uppers that are offset by Casablanca’s signature monogram print in red and green. This pattern makes its way onto the model as textile overlays that wrap around the toe and heel. To complement the ’70s-inspired print, the beige tongue features a stripe of vine leaves that amps up the luxe factor. As for the sides, familiar oversized “N” logos in red leather are animated by the green leather that lies underneath for an outlined effect. The red and green theme continues onto the EVA midsole, which sees a thin red stripe at the forefoot and a fully green covering underfoot. Red laces with gold tips add the final touch of elegance for another clean offering by the two names.
Take a closer look at the New Balance 237 below, which will be available via a draw conducted by End Clothing that closes on May 27th. More details have yet to come regarding a wide release.
