Parley‘s ongoing partnership with adidas has encompassed a handful of models, including the outdoor-ready Terrex Free Hiker and the Futurecraft 4D. The collection of eco-conscious footwear continues with the ocean conservation organization using recycled materials to construct a performance-focused adidas Ultraboost 21.
The latest addition to the Ultra Boost franchise ditches its usual knit uppers for a recycled textile composition that boasts a colorless, “Non-Dyed” neutral tone. In addition, the sides are void of any Three Stripes branding. Tonal nylon-like tabs and zigzag stitches are details that deliver a raw look while still maintaining a minimalistic aesthetic. Furthermore, a white label detailing the model’s construction is stitched to the tongue, sideways. A black translucent heel counter deviates from the off-white base, but the white stacked BOOST foam sole resumes the cream-color agenda. To complete the look, blue applied to the outsole is visible from the sides, adding a final touch of color.
