The Nike Air Force 1 Gets A Steel Grey Makeover

The Nike Air Force 1 Gets A Steel Grey Makeover

From enamel charms to animal prints, the number of ways Nike’s design team has devised to dress up the Air Force 1 manages to grow despite the model already on its 39th year. For an upcoming arrangement, the model goes for a stealthy all-grey build with hints of reflective detailing.

Rather than the classic smooth leather finish, the grey upper flaunts a pebbled texture. The aforementioned grey further colors the textile tongue and the suede overlay on the toe for a tonal look. While the profile Swooshes and the heel tab seem to also sport the same dark grey, these details are actually comprised of reflective materials. Added elements such as the pull tab at the heel and the red embroidered Swoosh at the forefoot on the lateral side have appeared on a Patriots-colored GS Air Force 1. A familiar white rubber sole unit completes the greyscale design for yet another inventive offering.

Take a closer look at the AF 1 below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months.

In other Swoosh-related news, a red and black camouflage Nike Dunk High is on the way.
