Trae Young’s adidas Signature Shoe, The Trae Young 1, Is Expected Soon

Trae Young is simply showing out. The Atlanta Hawks guard is reveling in his first-ever NBA Playoffs, taking bows in the Mecca and giving the Sixers their toughest challenge yet as the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals are deadlocked at two games a-piece. The success of the red-birds falls solely on the shoulders of their do-it-all point guard, who night in and night out is filling up the stat-sheets with unthinkable numbers.

Throughout the Playoffs, Trae has been ballin’ in his first signature shoe – the adidas Trae Young 1. Seen here in the “Ice Trae” colorway via official images, the Trae Young 1’s low-cut construction and BOOST cushioning is closely revealed, with an interesting tongue cover that hides the laces (which, based on the build, seem superfluous). Trae’s insignia is seen on the rear heel loop, while his number is stamped onto the insole.

The “Ice Trae” colorway first debuted on earlier models like the N3XT L3V3L and Top Ten, but it appears fittingly on his signature model with the ICEE mascot on the heel. Frosty details include the two-toned blue upper, the polar bear claw overlays on the lace eyelets, and the snowy clumps above the 11.

A release is expected this Summer/Fall season for $140 on adidas.com and adidas Hoops retailers.
