Jovani Hernandez Fresh off news that it has another Supreme collaboration in the works, the Nike Dunk High has emerged in an uncommon corduroy and leather construction, ostensibly as a nod to vintage basketball-related gear.
Clad in off-white and deep navy, the upcoming pair features rich green profile swooshes made up from the aforementioned cotton fabric widely-popular in past decades. The thematic details appear on the tongue label, lateral heel and sock-liner, resembling the patches stamped on athletic jerseys and the sizing tags inside a snapback cap. An “OFFICIAL NIKE Basketball MERCHANDISE” embellishment is pressed onto the lateral heel, donning the aforementioned color palette along with a faint neon green tone that screams “sportswear from the ’80s.”
