Sneaker News Trae Young’s signature shoe with adidas, the Trae Young 1, is rising up the trending sneaker headlines as the Atlanta Hawks star guard looks to pull of an “upset” by taking a series lead against the heavily favored Philadelphia Sixers. But is it an upset? The Hawks have been one of the best teams in the entire league since Nate McMillan took over the helm, and his usage of the wily Trae has been a key factor in the ATL’s rise to the top.
Perhaps Young could break out this newly revealed colorway of the adidas Trae Young 1, the official “ICEE” colorway that features the fruity gradient of light blue to pink with the beverage logo on the heel and insole. The snowy lace eyelet overlays as seen on the previouos Tray Young 1 “Ice Trae” also returns, while the standard detailing in the official athlete logo as well as the text appear on the tongue and heel loops.
The adidas Trae Young 1 is currently expected to release this summer for $140 in a variety of colorways, although it would be great if adidas executed a quick release during the Playoffs.
