As LeBron James steps foot into a role once claimed by the goat, Nike has more than enough cause to celebrate. And while their upcoming reveals shined plenty of light onto both Space Jam: A New Legacy and the athlete, the brand is still not quite done as we’re to see a commemorative LeBron 8 very soon.
Compared to the designs previously unveiled, this LeBron 8 is by far more simple. Bright hues are kept in the background, used sparingly across the Swoosh’s gradient outline, the eyelet, and the decals below. Elsewhere, black nubuck and patent construct the majority of the shoe, the latter of which is sublimated over with futuristic characters, silhouettes of iconic Looney Tunes characters, and the title of the film itself.
