Flight Jacket Themes Appear On This Breathable Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus is no stranger to reflective detailing, often applied as small decals on the toe and heel. However, an upcoming style that embraces an olive and orange pairing seems to be much more liberal with its use of reflective elements.

The fall-ready style embraces an olive mesh upper that is complemented by hits of orange on the profile Swooshes and laces. These hues are reminiscent of flight jackets, which are known to sport neutral tones and bright labels or branded elements. The Air Max Plus’s signature TPU overlays have been ditched for reflective taping that takes after the shape of the wavy fingers. A leather makeup for the tongue and mudguards further adds a premium touch to the style. To round out the look, a black sole unit offers an additional edge to the sleek design.

Take a closer look at the Air Max Plus below, which will be available at the listed retailers in the near future at a price of $170.
